Yogyakarta, Indonesia – The 4th WIMAYA Yogyakarta International Conference, hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPN “Veteran”), that was held on 29th – 30th November 2024. The event brought together scholars, professionals, and practitioners from across the globe to discuss this year’s theme: " Community – Centric Management: Aligning Organization Goals with Social Needs."
The conference opened with warm greetings and cultural performances, including the captivating Tari Batik Ayu by the Artha Dance troupe, setting the tone for an enriching experience.
Prominent figures graced the event, including Prof. Dr. M. Irhas Effendi, M.Si, the Rector of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta and Dr. Liem Gai Sin, President of the Association of International Business and Professional Management (AIBPM), their inspiring opening remarks highlighted the significance of international collaboration in driving sustainable development.
This year’s conference features participants from nations as diverse as Indonesia, Malaysia, India, the USA, South Africa, and Kuwait, showcasing a truly global dialogue. AIBPM and UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Host International Class on Economic Public
The Association of International Business & Professional Management (AIBPM), in collaboration with UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, successfully conducted a two-session international class focusing on the topic "Economic Public" on November 5 & 12, 2024. The sessions were led by the distinguished speaker, Tiara Juniar Soewardi, S.E., M.Si., from UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. This engaging program attracted 183 students from diverse countries, including Malaysia, India, Indonesia, and Nigeria. Over the two days, participants delved into key aspects of public economics, discussing policies, resource allocation, and the role of governments in fostering economic stability and growth.
