Yogyakarta, Indonesia – The 4th WIMAYA Yogyakarta International Conference, hosted by the Faculty of Economics and Business of Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Yogyakarta (UPN “Veteran”), that was held on 29th – 30th November 2024. The event brought together scholars, professionals, and practitioners from across the globe to discuss this year’s theme: " Community – Centric Management: Aligning Organization Goals with Social Needs."
The conference opened with warm greetings and cultural performances, including the captivating Tari Batik Ayu by the Artha Dance troupe, setting the tone for an enriching experience.
Prominent figures graced the event, including Prof. Dr. M. Irhas Effendi, M.Si, the Rector of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta and Dr. Liem Gai Sin, President of the Association of International Business and Professional Management (AIBPM), their inspiring opening remarks highlighted the significance of international collaboration in driving sustainable development.
This year’s conference features participants from nations as diverse as Indonesia, Malaysia, India, the USA, South Africa, and Kuwait, showcasing a truly global dialogue. A highlight of the morning included a ceremonial exchange of placards and certificates between UPN “Veteran” and AIBPM, marking a symbolic partnership in advancing academic and professional excellence.

Nusantara Project Winter 2019
The 2019 winter's Nusantara Project has completed perfectly. The project is followed by 336 students university students all over the world. The Nusantara Project is a Client-based Virtual Collaboration project which provides an opportunity to student to generate a business idea for the company. Nusantara Project is underpinned by the desire to enhance university students learning in Indonesia particularly and students in around the world. As the current business is moving to Asia so this Nusantara Project focuses on Asia Companies. All the companies that involved in this project are the real companies that willing to be a case study. The company are expected to commit to provide students with necessary information that is needed for the Nusantara Project. In this Nusantara Project, students will learn together as an international team.
