ICPM 2025 Conference in Malaysia a Great Success, Strengthening International Collaboration in Project Management

Penang, 17 May 2025 – The 2025 Malaysia International Conference of Project Management (ICPM 2025), held on 17 May 2025, concluded with remarkable success. Hosted by the Association of International Business and Professional Management (AIBPM) and suported by INTI International College Penang, the prestigious event provided an excellent platform for researchers, academics, industry professionals, and experts to exchange knowledge, share best practices, and explore innovations in the dynamic field of project management.
The academic conference brought together participants from Malaysia, Indonesia, China, and Thailand, creating a vibrant exchange of ideas and innovations in the field of project management under the central theme: "Reshaping Global Management: Adapting to Economic and Technological Shifts" The event began at 8:30 AM with registration and refreshments, followed by an opening session led by the emcee. Attendees were welcomed with corporate videos from both AIBPM and INTI, setting the tone for a professional yet engaging event. Opening remarks were delivered by: 1. Ms. Hemalatha Murugiah, Chief Executive of INTI International College Penang 2. Dr. Liem Gai Sin, President of AIBPM, Indonesia 3. Dr. Daisy Kee Mui Hung, Director of AIBPM, Malaysia The keynote address was delivered by YB Wong Hon Wai, Penang State EXCO for Tourism & Creative Economy (PETACE), who spoke on the future of AI in project management and its implications for public policy.
A significant highlight of the conference was the signing of multiple Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs): 1. INTI International College Penang with Hengxing University, China 2. AIBPM with Hengxing University, China & Universiti Sains Malaysia 3. Universiti Sains Malaysia with Hengxing University, China Special recognition was given to Ms. Anni Malar, Chairperson of ICPM 2025, and Dr. Hui Gan, Vice Chairman, for their outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to the success of the conference. Their tireless efforts and attention to detail were deeply appreciated by all involved.
