Malang, Indonesia – July 2025 – The 2025 Nusantara Project - Summer Semester, an internationally collaborative academic and cultural initiative led by AIBPM (Association of International Business & Professional Management), has successfully concluded. The summer edition of the program saw the participation of over 200 students and faculty members from various countries, marking a new milestone in cross-cultural and interdisciplinary education.
Held virtually and onsite, the 2025 Nusantara Project - Summer Semester offered a platform for participants to engage in impactful discussions, collaborative research, and cultural exchange. As a highlight of the program, participants were given the opportunity to submit their research papers developed during the project. These papers will undergo a peer-review process and will be considered for publication in international journals under AIBPM, providing valuable exposure and academic recognition to the authors.
“The quality of collaboration and diversity of thought this year was outstanding. We’re very proud of what the students have achieved, especially in terms of applying global business theory into real-world cases,” said Dr. Liem Gai Sin, President of AIBPM. “We look forward to showcasing their work through our journals and giving them the academic platform, they deserve.” The Nusantara Project is not just about academic output, it also creates bridges among cultures and educates participants to think globally while acting locally. Through online presentations, cultural showcases, and team challenges, students not only improved their academic competencies but also developed cross-cultural communication and leadership skills. AIBPM also welcomes new participants, institutions, and collaborators from around the world to join future editions of the Nusantara Project. Whether as mentors, students, or institutional partners, international collaboration is at the heart of what the project stands for. “We are always open to welcoming more global participants into the Nusantara family,” said the program coordinator. “Each cohort brings new perspectives, and we believe that diversity strengthens the academic and practical outcomes of the program.” As the Summer 2025 edition comes to a close, preparations for the next phase of the project, including Winter sessions, are already underway.
